Unwind under the night sky with a free outdoor movie screening on the Kuhlin Center lawn. Bring a blanket, grab your favorite snacks and enjoy a chill evening surrounded by friends, fellow alumni, family and Falcon spirit.
Lace up your running shoes and join us for a Homecoming tradition with a new name! Formerly the Freddie and Frieda 5K, this fan-favorite event now honors legendary Falcon and Olympic gold medalist Dave Wottle ‘73, who captured the world’s attention with his iconic 800-meter victory in 1972.
Start your Homecoming Weekend Saturday morning off at the BiG Breakfast! Catch up with former classmates, relax with your family and friends, connect with campus leadership and enjoy a laid-back breakfast to kick off the day.

Welcome home, Falcons! Stroll through our All-Alumni Celebration – a charming “neighborhood” in the heart of campus, where each tent along Decades Drive represents a different era of BGSU pride. Reconnect with classmates, flip through vintage yearbooks and relive the memories that made your Falcon days unforgettable.
Kick off game day at the BGSU Homecoming Tailgate, the ultimate pregame celebration filled with music, camaraderie and Falcon pride. Alumni, friends and families can gather at Tailgate Park to reconnect, relax and get ready for an exciting afternoon of football and Homecoming festivities.
Following our tailgating fun, get ready for an action-packed evening at The Doyt as the Falcons take on the Liberty Flames. From a high-energy halftime show to a fireworks finale, this game is more than just football – it’s a Homecoming tradition!
Enjoy a relaxing morning with local coffee favorites, coffee trucks and a sweet selection of fresh donuts as we say “see you later” to our Falcon family. It’s the perfect way to wrap up your Homecoming weekend – until we see you back at BGSU again!
Begin your final day of BGSU Homecoming the right way with a delicious, buffet-style brunch while hanging out with BGSU’s favorite mascots, Freddie and Frieda Falcon. Bring your friends and family for a fun, relaxed dining experience filled with photo ops, high fives and maybe even an autograph.
Visit Mileti HQ during homecoming weekend to say hello, connect with fellow alumni and members of the BGSU Alumni Association team and collect prizes from your passport!
Make a purchase at any of our on-campus Falcon Outfitters locations (in the BTSU, swag wagon, at the Doyt) and earn your points for check in.
Looking to check out what’s new on campus since you’ve last been home? Hop on the Campus Bus Tour that starts at the Bowen Thompson Student Union, outside of Starbucks. There are three 30-minute tours at 10:00, 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.
